Hi, I'm Zoe

A women's personal trainer helping you build strength, improve your health and understand your body — through hormone-informed training and honest, evidence-based education.

Zoe Faragher-Thomas, founder of Hormone Intelligence

Training that works with your body

I believe strength changes everything — not just how you look, but how you feel, move and carry yourself through life.

My approach is centred around building strength and muscle, supporting bone health and creating a body that stays strong and capable for the years ahead. But good coaching is about more than writing a workout. Your hormones, sleep, stress, recovery, lifestyle and experience all matter too.

I work with women at different stages of life, from older girls wanting to understand their menstrual cycle and how to explore exercise for the first time in a healthy way, to women navigating perimenopause and menopause — and every woman in between. I also support women using GLP-1 medications, with a particular focus on preserving and building muscle, protecting bone health and building habits that can be sustained alongside weight loss, long term.

Everything I do is personalised and evidence-based. No fads, no fear-mongering and no expectation of perfection.

The aim is simple: to help you become stronger, understand your body better and find a way of training that works for your life — and that you can continue for the long term.

My goal isn't just to help women get stronger — it's to give them the knowledge and confidence to understand their bodies, advocate for their health, and build a body that supports them through every stage of life.

How I got here

My route into fitness hasn't been a conventional one.

Before becoming a Personal Trainer, I was a charity leader and researcher and worked in the House of Lords. I've always been driven by people, understanding their experiences and helping others, that hasn't changed, it has simply taken a new direction.

I'm also in recovery — many years clean and sober. Recovery has been a huge part of rebuilding my life and has shaped the way I think about change: I believe in consistency over perfection, taking responsibility for our health and building something sustainable rather than constantly starting again.

My own health and fitness transformation came later. Over the past few years I've lost 42kg, overcome binge eating, rebuilt my relationship with food and discovered a genuine love of training. Strength training in particular changed far more than my body, it transformed my confidence, my mental wellbeing and what I believed I was capable of.

Then came another huge change. I had my second baby at 40 and found myself entering my forties, navigating motherhood alongside the changes of perimenopause. It made me increasingly interested in women's physiology and how little many of us are taught about our own bodies. You will be surprised how many women go through life not knowing where they pee from!

That combination of lived experience and a growing passion for women's health led me to retrain as a Personal Trainer and ultimately create Hormone Intelligence.

Today I train women from my private studio in Reigate and at Hybrid Fitness Reigate, where I also teach regular Strength and MIT classes.

I don't expect the women I work with to make fitness their whole life. I haven't.

I want to help women find a way to make strength, movement and looking after themselves part of their life, through motherhood, changing hormones, busy careers and everything else that comes with being a woman.
